About the mParks Foundation

Established in 2002, the mParks Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Michigan Recreation & Park Association (mParks).

Our mission is to enrich the health and well-being of all Michigan citizens by:

• Increasing access to recreation and outdoor spaces
• Supporting professional development for parks and recreation leaders
• Recognizing excellence in communities and practitioners statewide

• ​Access for All: Increasing access to recreation and the outdoors for people of all ages and abilities through funding for adaptive equipment and innovative community projects.

2027 Silent Auction Details

The 2027 mParks Foundation will take place at the 2026 mParks Annual Conference & Trade Show, February 2-5, 2027 at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa in Acme, MI. 

• Silent Auction Live: February 3-4, 2027
• Donation Deadline: January 22, 2027

What Can I Donate?
Items and experiences that generate strong interest include:

• Attraction, sporting event, or theme park tickets
• Hotel stays or weekend getaways
• Restaurant gift certificates
• Outdoor recreation gear or adventure packages
• Tours, classes, or behind-the-scenes experiences
• Autographed memorabilia or local collectibles
