Come Out & Play at the Capitol

Join mParks for a day of outdoor fun! 2,250 kids from 24 parks and recreation departments across the state will be coming to Lansing to play on the Capitol Lawn! The day will create an opportunity for state elected officials and their staff members to view the impact of parks and recreation within the local community.

On the Capitol lawn, stations will be set up for groups to rotate through during their visit. The Lawn will be divided in to 4 colored sections (Red, Blue, Green and Yellow). Groups should plan on spending about 30 minutes in each section and have the ability to explore all the activities in the section.
