Mentorship Program
Applications Open Summer 2026.
Build Connection. Share Knowledge. Grow Together.
Whether you're stepping into the field or bringing years of experience, mentorship offers a meaningful opportunity to learn, lead, and strengthen Michigan’s parks and recreation community.
The mParks Mentorship Program pairs emerging professionals with experienced leaders to support skill-building, career growth, and personal connection — laying the foundation for relationships that last well beyond the program itself. Mentorship is a two-way exchange: a space to share knowledge, reflect on challenges, and create a stronger future for the profession, together.

- Learn from one another’s lived experience and professional journey
