Relax and Have Fun When Speaking in Public - Seriously:

  • Gain confidence!
  • Relax, breathe and project!
  • Look the part and plan ahead.
  • Improve your vocal image -  sound authoritative, not boring or annoying!
  • Adjust your body language – including those facial expressions!

The Art of Small Talk: Leaving a Positive Impression:

Learn techniques and strategies that you can apply in business or your personal life today.

How to:

  • Enter a room.
  • Start a conversation with a stranger or several strangers.
  • Sound more professional and look approachable.
  • Handle the buffet.
  • Leave an awkward situation gracefully.

Corinne Barringer is a speech/voice coach and communications consultant. Ms. Barringer will be the morning presenter on two topics above.

Deborah Guthrie is the Communications Director for Meridian Township HOM TV.  She will give tips and tricks when recording in front of the camera.  Workshop participants will also have an opportunity to participate in a mock interview.

Take this workshop to make sure you are prepared for your next group meeting, be more polished for your next on-camera experience or be better prepared to make the most out of your next networking opportunity!  Includes coffee in the morning and boxed lunch.
